What you will do

• Direct the financial reporting and analysis work and set the reporting strategy
• Build and roll out the reporting approach across the organisation
• Give senior management advice and consultation on accounting, reporting and analysis
• Guide and develop a team through supervision and leadership
• Coordinate projects involving many different groups in a large organisation

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a closely related discipline
• At least five years of accounting and financial reporting experience
• Two or more years in a supervisory or lead role, including hiring and performance management
• Strong analytical, presentation and written and verbal communication skills, with Microsoft Office proficiency
• Proven project management experience and attention to detail
• Good time management and prioritisation abilities

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant credential
• Experience with insurance statutory accounting and reporting
