An experienced full stack engineer supports high impact customer initiatives, working across the application stack with emphasis on React plus Python or Java. The role involves building performant microservices and guiding technical decisions.
What you will do
- Build and improve core services for customer intake, screening and data dissemination
- Find and fix performance bottlenecks and architectural problems
- Propose innovative, data driven solutions that work at scale
- Lead and mentor developers while delivering high quality software
- Collaborate in a fast paced, highly technical Agile environment
What they look for
- Eight or more years of full stack development experience
- Five or more years of hands on React development
- Experience building production grade React applications with components, routing, state management and APIs
Nice to have
- Familiarity with refugee and immigrant populations or social programs
- Knowledge of procurement or acquisition processes
- Experience integrating with AWS SDKs such as S3
- Understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards and modern UI/UX principles
