What you will do

  • Build web features end to end, from back-end code and interfaces to the front-end design
  • Turn wireframes and designs into reusable, testable front-end code in JavaScript and React
  • Write and test scalable back-end APIs, and design data models that keep access fast
  • Integrate the app with other platforms, handle large datasets and write clear API and deployment docs
  • Join standups, demos, retrospectives and sprint planning with product owners and QA

  • At least four years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar technical field
  • Strong Python and Django skills, plus HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Hands-on with a major cloud provider, AWS preferred, and with Docker containers
  • Knowledge of REST, JSON, GraphQL and similar API styles, and of React, Angular or Node.js
