Full-Stack Product Engineer (React & Node.js)

About the role

You will take customer-facing features from an early idea through to production on a platform handling very large datasets, deciding what to build and using AI agents to implement it.

What you will do

• Own features end to end, from a rough concept to a shipped, usable release, then refine them based on real usage
• Make product decisions yourself alongside design and go-to-market colleagues rather than waiting for detailed specs
• Direct AI coding agents as a core part of development, writing precise briefs and verifying their output
• Implement the interaction layer that keeps heavy data responsive, such as optimistic updates and retry queues
• Create testing, evaluation and automated review systems that make agent output trustworthy

What they look for

• You focus on users and problems rather than on a particular technology stack
• You have shipped something that nobody specified for you and can explain a trade-off you made to move faster
• You use AI orchestration tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot daily and can describe how you direct agents
• You understand indexes, query shape and pagination well enough to anticipate performance strain at scale
• You think about the business side, including who pays and what drives conversion

Nice to have

• Experience building tooling around agents, such as evaluations, automated review or context systems
• Search engine experience, for example with Elasticsearch
• Real-time collaboration experience with WebSockets or Liveblocks
• Startup experience, open-source contributions or shipped AI features
