An experienced IP lawyer is needed to protect the company's intellectual property and its AI-driven fintech innovations, working with product, engineering and leadership teams on patent strategy and filings.
What you will do
- Advise on patent strategy, application filing, prosecution and enforcement
- Spot and assess innovations in AI, fintech and software that may be patentable
- Draft and manage patent applications together with technical and product colleagues
- Run patentability, freedom-to-operate and risk reviews
- Track competitors' IP activity and evaluate infringement risks and opportunities
- Help shape internal IP policies and raise awareness across teams
What they look for
- At least five years in patent law, ideally in technology, AI, SaaS or fintech
- Solid grasp of patent prosecution, litigation and IP licensing frameworks
- Able to interpret complex software and financial systems innovations
- Strong communication and negotiation with cross-functional stakeholders
- Analytical and highly attentive to legal and technical detail
- Experience overseeing several IP portfolios or innovation pipelines
