Junior IT Lawyer

About the role

A junior legal role focused on technology contracts and disputes, supporting a software engineering company that serves clients in finance, renewable energy and healthcare. The lawyer keeps business dealings compliant with European and international rules.

What you will do

• Draft, examine and negotiate technology contracts and related legal papers for European and international markets
• Manage claims, disagreements and legal problems arising from contractual relationships while safeguarding company interests
• Advise on compliance with data privacy, intellectual property and software licensing rules
• Work with executives, HR and sales to keep business processes and contracts legally sound
• Set up and run contract management processes, including assessing and reducing risk
• Track changes in European technology and data protection law and keep operations compliant

What they look for

• A law degree at bachelor or master level
• One to three years of legal practice, ideally in technology law and dispute or claim handling
• Hands-on knowledge of European contract law and the EU regulatory environment
• Strong skills in negotiating and drafting complex technology agreements
• Solid problem solving, especially when resolving legal disputes or claims
• At least intermediate English and the ability to thrive in a remote, fast-moving technology setting
