Lead Business Solutions Developer

About the role

Leads the design and delivery of complex technical solutions that address business needs, guiding project teams and mentoring colleagues while acting as a subject matter expert.

What you will do

• Oversee the full implementation process and lead a project team in gathering business requirements
• Keep stakeholders informed throughout solution development and refer completed solutions for implementation
• Carry out advanced research and analysis using SQL and Power BI with DAX to solve stakeholder problems
• Mentor peers on development and solution strategy, including code reviews and pull requests
• Write SQL, Power BI and Snowflake code following best programming practices

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least eight years of experience in the field or a closely related area
• Advanced SQL knowledge and hands-on experience
• Intermediate Power BI and DAX skills
• Familiarity with OLAP databases such as Snowflake or Teradata
• Working knowledge of relational databases and basic Agile and Scrum methods
