Machine Learning Engineer, Ads Signals and Targeting

About the role

The team builds the systems that decide which ads members see, using behavioural and contextual signals while keeping privacy in view. Models are refined continuously so member experience and advertiser results both improve at scale.

What you will do

• Build and deploy end-to-end ML models for low-latency, real-time ad serving
• Design user and contextual signals plus audience targeting features for the ad platform
• Work with very large datasets using big data tools such as Spark
• Team up with science, product, engineering, operations and design partners to ship models at scale

What they look for

• Hands-on experience deploying and running ML inference infrastructure for real-time ad systems
• A track record of building models for ad targeting and lookalike expansion
• Skill in Java, C++, Python or Scala, with solid knowledge of threading and memory management
• Comfort handling data at extreme volume with big data tooling like Spark
