What you will do
- Design, build and run distributed platform services and APIs in Java and Python on Kubernetes or similar cloud-native infrastructure
- Apply domain-oriented, system and low-level design thinking to ambiguous platform problems, weighing trade-offs, failure modes, cost and dur
- Contribute to Spark-based data pipelines and processing jobs within the data engineering codebase when needed
- Create AI, generative AI and agentic platform capabilities such as developer tooling, workflow automation and operational assistants
- Own reliability, scalability and observability, including service-level objectives, tracing, alerting and incident response
- Guide architecture across microservices, event-driven systems and enterprise integrations, and set engineering standards through reviews
