Manager, Live Events

About the role

The role involves planning and running consumer-facing live events across the US, working with production teams, leadership and outside partners. The aim is to turn live experiences into a sustainable and profitable business line.

What you will do

• Run logistics, operations and on-site delivery for as many as fifteen events each year
• Source suppliers, manage those relationships and negotiate prices for venues, catering, ticketing, merchandise and gear
• Handle bespoke sponsorship activations with manufacturers and partners so they are delivered on site
• Create and track event budgets covering costs, ticket income and overall profitability
• Prepare contingency and risk plans so problems on site are handled smoothly

What they look for

• Can begin work before the fourth of November
• Three years of practical experience in event logistics, supplier management and operations
• Proven skill in negotiating rates and running events within budget while keeping quality high
• Willing and able to travel around the US to deliver events on location

• Worked with content production teams, makers of custom activations, or virtual and hybrid event platforms
• An entrepreneurial outlook with a taste for solving problems and growing a market
