Medical Virtual Assistant, Lab Results and Patient Coordination

About the role

Support a busy primary care practice by relaying provider-reviewed lab and imaging results to patients, arranging follow-up and keeping charts accurate. The role is administrative and does not involve interpreting results.

What you will do

• Contact patients to share provider-reviewed results and instructions clearly
• Arrange follow-up visits, testing, referrals and repeat labs as directed
• Record every patient interaction and scheduling update in the EHR
• Escalate clinical questions or unclear instructions to providers
• Support clinical administrative workflows as assigned

What they look for

• Strong Medical Assistant background with clinical understanding
• Confidence speaking directly with patients by phone
• Accurate documentation skills in AdvancedMD
• Clear, patient communication, including with elderly patients
• Availability Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Eastern Time

Pay

USD 5 to 6 per hour
