Medical Writer (Consultant)

About the role

A consulting medical writing role producing scientific and regulatory documents for clinical development programmes. The writer also guides colleagues, manages client projects and helps improve the function.

What you will do

• Author, review and quality-check regulatory and scientific documents such as clinical study reports
• Make sure documents match source data and meet regulatory, company and client standards
• Provide editorial support, proofreading and quality control, and help compile submission-ready deliverables
• Manage several writing projects at once within agreed timelines and budgets
• Track milestones, risks and progress, and keep accurate project and time records

What they look for

• Experience authoring and reviewing regulatory and scientific medical writing deliverables
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, GCP standards and scientific communication guidelines
• Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and budgets at once
• Strong stakeholder communication and client relationship skills
• Attention to accuracy and compliance in documentation
