Model Validator

About the role

A remote position testing and validating machine learning models and analytical systems, checking their accuracy and reliability and reporting weaknesses with suggested fixes.

What you will do

• Assess machine learning models, algorithms and analytical systems against set performance criteria
• Review outputs for accuracy, consistency, reliability and relevance
• Run structured tests using datasets, test cases and defined evaluation procedures
• Spot errors, performance gaps, odd outputs and possible sources of bias
• Write detailed reports on findings and recommendations, and keep validation records
• Do regression testing after model updates and compare predictions with benchmarks

What they look for

• Background in model validation, software testing, data analysis or quality assurance
• Strong analytical and critical thinking, with attention to detail
• Understanding of statistics, data quality and performance measurement
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and evaluation metrics
• Excel or Google Sheets skills for analysis and reporting

Nice to have

• Validating machine learning, predictive analytics or AI systems
• Statistical testing, sampling and error analysis experience
• Python libraries such as pandas, NumPy or scikit-learn
