Music Curriculum Developer

About the role

Create immersive, academically rigorous music learning materials for grades 6 to 12, including video scripts, assessments and written activities. Work with subject experts, production staff and an instructional coach.

What you will do

• Write clear measurable lesson objectives and align materials to them
• Differentiate instruction for diverse student populations and needs
• Refine content using feedback and educational outcomes
• Collaborate with peers on curriculum development and give and receive feedback
• Use tools such as Google Slides, Sheets and Docs

What they look for

• At least 2 years of full-time music classroom teaching at the 6 to 12 grade level
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a music-related field
• Familiarity with writing lesson objectives and objective-aligned materials
• Experience creating well-structured, engaging lessons and differentiating instruction
• Strong written communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have

• Active teaching certification or training in curriculum design and pedagogy
• Hands-on experience writing curriculum, including scripts for asynchronous video lessons

Pay

USD 25.12 to 34.50 per hour
