Network Administrator II

About the role

Maintain and optimize the network infrastructure behind financial technology products, keeping services stable, resilient and secure for client institutions. The role involves incident response, upgrades and vendor coordination.

What you will do

• Handle service requests, incidents, problems and changes affecting the network infrastructure
• Carry out hardware and software upgrades, patch vulnerabilities and respond to alerts
• Run routine tasks such as standardization, compliance checks, capacity planning and monitoring improvements
• Oversee client telecom circuits and work with carriers and vendors to resolve incidents
• Join triage and incident bridge calls and take part in an on-call rotation
• Advise internal and external customers on technical matters

What they look for

• Two to five years of relevant experience in the field
• Hands-on configuration and upkeep of Cisco routing and switching
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, Azure or AWS, or comparable experience
• Experience supporting OSI model layers one through four
• Familiarity with security policy management in a PCI compliant setting
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for root cause work

Nice to have

• SD-WAN knowledge
• Exposure to Wireshark, Solarwinds, ServiceNow or ADO
