Senior PHP Fullstack Engineer

About the role

You will build and maintain a B2B platform that blends business software with AI features, working full time on a distributed team.

What you will do

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and connect third-party services
• Build frontend and backend features using PHP and JavaScript frameworks
• Optimize relational database queries and schema design
• Use AI coding tools and agents for generation, refactoring, debugging and tests
• Review and improve AI-generated code for quality, security and maintainability
• Work with automated tests, Git, CI/CD pipelines and Docker

What they look for

• Five or more years of professional software development, with strong PHP and JavaScript expertise
• Experience with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern frontend framework like React, Vue.js or Angular
• Understanding of architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles and clean code
• Hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot

Nice to have

• AI-native or agentic development workflows
• Specification-driven development and AI-assisted practices
• Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Maintaining large-scale SaaS applications
