Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

Deliver primary care to a panel of patients, blending in-clinic visits with occasional virtual care. The role focuses on accessible, human-centered care for people of all backgrounds.

What you will do

• Own a patient panel covering acute, chronic and preventive visits
• See patients in the clinic or testing centers and handle some telehealth visits
• Take part in weekly clinical rounds and other ongoing learning
• Coordinate daily with on-site colleagues and virtual clinical teams
• Use your clinical training and perform in-office procedures
• Obtain extra state licenses and credentialing for virtual primary care

What they look for

• Graduated from an accredited NP or PA program and hold national certification
• Licensed in California by the start date
• At least two years of outpatient primary care in the last five years, or one year plus a fellowship or urgent care experience
• A strong commitment to human-centered primary care
• Able to communicate with and treat patients of every background

Nice to have

• Experience with LARC insertion such as IUD and Nexplanon and with colposcopy
