A patient-facing role supporting a medical practice's scheduling and communication, with live English and Arabic interpretation during clinical encounters. The assistant helps patients, especially Arabic speakers, move smoothly through their care.
What you will do
- Book new visits, process rescheduling requests and send confirmations to patients
- Answer incoming calls and messages, resolving questions and guiding Arabic-speaking patients
- Interpret live between English and Arabic during medical or telehealth encounters
- Translate spoken and written communications accurately and on the spot
- Record patient interactions and updates in the electronic medical record
- Coordinate follow-ups and reminders, and escalate urgent needs to clinical staff

- Bilingual fluency in English and Arabic with confident live interpretation
- One to two years in clinic scheduling or telehealth support
- Excellent communication, active listening and cultural sensitivity
- High emotional intelligence and a calm manner under pressure
- Strong detail focus and follow-through, with reliable task ownership
- Ability to juggle several systems while staying accurate
