Platform Tester, Back-End Systems

About the role

This role protects the quality of the core platform services, APIs and infrastructure that healthcare providers depend on. You will lead test strategy for platform components and grow automated coverage so each release is stable and ready for clinical use.

What you will do

• Define coverage for functional, integration, regression and non-functional testing to lower release risk
• Build and maintain automated suites for APIs, services and back-end systems, and wire them into CI/CD pipelines
• Check interoperability such as DICOM and HL7, plus performance, scalability, upgrades and migrations
• Trace complex cross-component defects using logs, data and diagnostics, then work with engineers to fix them
• Help shape testing standards and quality metrics, and coach software testers on platform approaches

What they look for

• Five or more years in software testing or quality assurance, including integrated or platform-level systems
• Proven work building and maintaining automation frameworks for API and integration testing
• Familiarity with SQL, test management tools such as qTest or Zephyr, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience testing in containerized or cloud settings such as AWS, Docker or Kubernetes
• Able to lead test strategy for complex releases with little supervision

Nice to have

• Knowledge of healthcare IT or medical imaging such as PACS, RIS or DICOM
• ISTQB certification or equivalent

USD 86,000 to 115,000 per year
