Software Engineer, Payments

About the role

A software engineer role in a corporate payments engineering organization, helping develop and execute solutions within a SaaS bill pay platform that supports consumer payment collection and delivery.

What you will do

• Collaborate with other payments engineering teams to reuse practices and components
• Write high-quality automated unit, component and integration tests

What they look for

• At least two years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong Java and Spring Boot development skills
• Experience deploying applications on AWS Cloud
• Experience building event-driven applications with Apache Kafka
• Understanding of software design principles, security and compliance in cloud environments

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or payments, such as bill pay or accounts payable
• Experience building cloud-native SaaS applications
• Experience with geographically distributed engineering teams
