What you will do
- Build, deploy and administer MongoDB environments in production and non-production, both on-premises and in a managed cloud service
- Handle installation, configuration, patching, version upgrades, migrations and lifecycle tasks
- Design and run replica sets and sharded clusters, covering topology, storage, networking and capacity
- Set engineering standards, reference architectures, build procedures and operational controls
- Advise application teams on data modelling, indexing, scalability, resilience and readiness
- Plan and run failover, recovery and regional resilience tests, and maintain backup and restore processes
