Senior Databricks Data Engineer

About the role

Build scalable cloud architectures for large and complex datasets using Databricks, joining a Cloud and Big Data engineering team.

What you will do

• Design and implement large scale data processing solutions with Databricks
• Build and improve data pipelines using Python and cloud native tools
• Partner with solution architects to set and maintain engineering best practices
• Ensure data consistency, security and scalability in cloud environments

What they look for

• Commercial data engineering experience with hands on Databricks skills
• Strong Python skills for automation and data transformation
• Commercial work with at least one of AWS, Azure or GCP
• Strong communication skills
• Advanced English and Polish

Nice to have

• Solid SQL knowledge including query optimisation and data modelling
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or Bicep
• Experience with real time streaming technologies like Kafka or Spark Streaming
• Knowledge of cloud storage such as Data Lake, Snowflake or Synapse
