Senior Software Development Engineer

About the role

Builds backend services and APIs that make public cloud capabilities self-service, owning them as products from design through operation. Works on an internal platform used by engineers across the company.

What you will do

• Design, build and own backend services and APIs for cloud self-service
• Turn recurring manual cloud work into automated, safe-by-default products
• Shape interfaces and paved paths based on internal customer feedback
• Own reliability through observability, SLOs and self-healing
• Participate in on-call and lead work that removes classes of problems
• Use AI-assisted tooling to speed design, implementation and operations

What they look for

• Experience building and operating backend services and APIs
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud infrastructure automation
• Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform
• Ability to design for reliability, observability and SLOs
• A product mindset toward internal platforms

Pay

USD 164,400 to 262,600 per year
