Principal AI Scientist

About the role

The role architects generative AI models and adapts them to varied hardware, improving large language and multimodal models for conversational products.

What you will do

• Design and build generative AI models and port them to different hardware platforms
• Train, fine-tune and optimize LLM and multimodal multilingual models for accuracy and speed
• Work with agentic AI scientists, engineers and domain experts to build tailored solutions
• Add language model capabilities to existing applications, including on constrained devices
• Track advances in generative and conversational AI and apply new techniques

What they look for

• Extensive hands-on experience developing LLM and multimodal models
• Familiarity with commercial deployment, post-deployment support, profiling and optimization
• Strong Python programming and ability to implement complex machine learning algorithms
• Track record building conversational AI systems with acoustic, language and pronunciation models
• Analytical thinking, problem solving and a collaborative mindset

• Experience deploying models in multiple languages

Pay

USD 123,500 to 197,600 per year
