  • Characterize deep learning models and AI workloads running large-scale LLM training and inference on supercomputers
  • Benchmark and profile performance to find bottlenecks, with networking as the main lens
  • Build a PyTorch trace-based toolset for profiling, analysis and replay of network systems
  • Set performance test plans and targets for new technology, then work with hardware and software teams to hit them
