Product Manager

About the role

You will own requirements for a plagiarism checking product, set a shared vision and roadmap, and guide projects with engineering partners through the software lifecycle. You will weigh cross-team dependencies, interoperability, performance and business impact when scoping features.

What you will do

• Work with engineering and stakeholders to define and maintain product requirements and lead rollout
• Give engineering clear, detailed requirements for features and enhancements
• Clear obstacles and respond quickly to change by laying out options, implications and outcomes
• Ensure accessibility standards, data privacy rules and interoperability requirements are met
• Facilitate planning, refinement and retrospective sessions
• Help the team resolve blockers tied to implementation and adoption

What they look for

• Ability to grasp technical concepts, manage trade-offs and assess innovative ideas with technical and non-technical partners
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, using data and metrics to support assumptions and recommendations
• Proven success in Agile development and product ownership, including backlog and work tracking in JIRA or similar

Nice to have

• CSPO or comparable product management certification
• Experience with micro frontend and shared services deliverables
• Experience with low-fidelity prototyping for early stakeholder brainstorming
• Experience leading complex digital products with multiple stakeholder groups and cross-team roadmap dependencies
