Product Policy Lead, Ads

About the role

Policy for monetisation has to protect users and advertisers while staying inside the law, and this role owns that balance for new ad formats. The work runs across trust and safety, product, sales and engineering, with AI and machine learning used to enforce rules at scale.

What you will do

• Develop global policies for ad targeting, brand safety and monetisation with policy peers, partners and outside experts
• Review and revise policy approaches as products and risks change
• Give policy guidance to trust and safety, product, sales and engineering teams and scale enforcement worldwide
• Use AI and machine learning tools to enforce policy, catch violating content and assess risk
• Mentor teammates and help the senior manager set team strategy and priorities

What they look for

• At least seven years in trust and safety, ad policy or monetisation policy development
• Experience with AI or machine learning systems, especially in content moderation or policy enforcement
• Comfort using AI assisted tools for drafting and data analysis
• Good judgment with complex inputs, tradeoffs and ambiguity
• Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders from junior to executive level
