Quant Developer

About the role

A hands-on quantitative role owning vault strategies from research through deployment and live operation. The person is accountable for the performance, safety and uptime of the strategies they build.

What you will do

• Design and ship vault strategies covering lending, yield aggregation, structured products and RWAs.
• Research signals, optimise execution and handle gas-aware rebalancing across tokens and chains.
• Assess protocols, collateral assets and chains for solvency, oracles, liquidity and redemption.
• Set and own risk parameters such as supply caps, exposure limits and automated de-risking.
• Extend monitoring and alerting, define paging conditions and join the on-call rotation.

What they look for

• A track record of quantitative systems running in production, such as trading, portfolio optimisation or risk.
• Strong Python plus solid software engineering habits like testing, code review and durable abstractions.
• Applied optimisation, statistics and simulation skills, with a habit of validating models on real data.
• Comfort with SQL and with building or consuming data pipelines.
• Experience debugging live systems under pressure and keeping them monitored and recoverable.
• Clear technical communication.

Nice to have

• Solidity or EVM literacy, including reading contracts and forked-chain simulation; non-EVM experience valued.
• On-chain operations experience such as multisig workflows, transaction signing and bridging.
• TypeScript skills.
