Sales Development Representative, Renewable Energy

About the role

A pipeline-focused outbound role for a renewable energy client, acting as the first contact for prospective customers and booking early sales conversations. The position drives outreach and product education to support market growth.

What you will do

• Make around fifty outbound calls each day to pre-screened prospect lists
• Arrange discovery meetings for senior members of the sales team
• Run live screen-sharing walkthroughs to explain the platform to prospects
• Handle and close smaller deals directly so onboarding runs smoothly
• Keep detailed activity records and lead updates current in the CRM
• Schedule outreach around UK working hours to reach the core market

What they look for

• At least three years in sales development, business development or outbound B2B selling
• Comfort with high-volume outbound calling and a resilient, professional manner
• Strong spoken and written communication abilities
• Confidence presenting technical product demos over screen share
• Availability during UK business hours
• A self-driven approach with discipline to meet daily activity goals

Nice to have

• Background in renewable energy, solar, clean technology, sustainability, utilities or energy consulting
