A sales engineer brings deep product knowledge to the sales cycle, answering technical questions and showing the platform to prospects. The role works closely with sales, product, marketing and services teams.
What you will do
- Explain technical concepts and the value of data flowing through APIs and integrations
- Give strong technical demonstrations of the platform
- Serve as the go to technical resource for the go to market team
- Build and maintain relationships with several prospects during sales
- Relay technical challenges, new use cases and product ideas internally
- Follow industry trends and technology developments

- Five or more years in sales engineering, technical support or engineering
- Experience showing a complex technical product to varied use cases and buyer personas
- Helpful mindset, close attention to detail and high technical aptitude
- Startup experience or a startup mentality
- Analytical and strong at problem solving
