Senior Account Executive

About the role

A senior seller owns the whole sales cycle for a set of accounts, turning prospects into long-term partnerships with consumer goods brands and retailers. The role shapes how the business grows by linking client needs to product direction.

What you will do

• Run the entire sales cycle for assigned accounts, from finding prospects through pitching, negotiating and closing
• Build and carry out a structured plan covering account priorities, outreach order and lead generation to hit quarterly revenue goals
• Cultivate lasting relationships with shopper marketing contacts, consumer brands and media agencies on your list
• Work with account coordinators on media plans that meet client goals and secure a place in their marketing mix
• Handle renewals consultatively, spotting ways to expand and strengthen each partnership
• Keep pipeline, activity and forecast records accurate in the CRM and manage your own schedule

What they look for

• Five years or more of experience selling digital or online media
• Willingness to travel about 20% of the time for clients and events
• Strong knowledge of and relationships in the CPG and shopper marketing sector
• Comfort with independent work and self-driven selling
