Senior Account Executive, Public Sector Federal Civilian Agencies

About the role

Sell software, support and services to US federal civilian agencies, managing large accounts and guiding customers through the full sales cycle as a trusted data intelligence advisor.

What you will do

• Hit targets for new licence revenue and customer renewals
• Prospect for new accounts, grow pipeline and expand existing relationships
• Run complex deal cycles from lead generation through negotiation to close
• Forecast reliably through high activity and broad account coverage
• Work consultatively with customers, partners and peers to show value and ROI

What they look for

• Track record of consistently exceeding assigned sales quotas
• Experience in data storage or data management software
• Seven or more years selling to federal civilian accounts in the field
• History of originating and closing complex deals with technical and business stakeholders
• Consultative, value based selling experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Nice to have

• Active security clearance
• Existing relationships with Departments of Homeland Security or Energy

Pay

USD 140,000 to 175,000 per year
