A software engineering role supporting the systems that run daily portfolio operations. The work spans design, build and upkeep of a platform connecting portfolio managers with their portfolios.
What you will do
- Turn user requests into concrete designs that serve the wider user base
- Build databases, schemas, APIs, processing services, schedules and asynchronous pipelines
- Write full stack code including component code and style sheets
- Help the front-line support team through the support triage process
What they look for
- Component based front-end experience with frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue or Svelte
- Database experience, ideally with Microsoft SQL Server or similar
- Object oriented programming experience with C, Java or similar
- Experience with Material design, particularly Angular Material
- Comfort working with large datasets and computational code
Nice to have
- Interest in investments and the investment process
- Expertise in optimization across all levels of a stack
- Experience with module federation and micro frontend techniques
- Knowledge of caching strategies with redis or related technologies
