Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Build the pipelines, models and data services that support reporting, analytics and data science across lending and insurance lines of business. Improve reliability and cost efficiency while applying practical AI tools to speed up delivery.

What you will do

• Build and run batch and real-time streaming pipelines, ETL and ELT workflows, and database applications with plans for schema changes and re
• Own reliability and efficiency by automating quality checks, monitoring freshness, tuning performance and cost, and joining on-call rotation
• Create reusable frameworks and patterns, apply automated testing, code review and repeatable deployments, and maintain standards and runbook
• Work with business users and engineering teams to clarify needs, resolve issues and shape the data engineering roadmap
• Use AI tools for development, testing, documentation and troubleshooting while validating output and protecting sensitive data

What they look for

• At least five years of hands-on data engineering experience covering warehousing, ETL and ELT development and analytics in production settin
• Experience designing data lakes and warehouses on distributed platforms, with knowledge of batch and streaming integration patterns
• Strong dimensional modeling and warehousing practices, including grain, fact and dimension tables and tracking historical changes

• Experience with Snowflake
