Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Build and own the data infrastructure behind a marketplace that turns surplus consumer goods inventory into value for retailers. The role shapes reliable, accessible data for internal decisions and customer analytics.

What you will do

• Architect and maintain pipelines that move and transform marketplace data at scale, using AI coding tools
• Own the analytical warehouse schema serving internal, aggregate and customer reporting
• Set data quality standards and build the monitoring and testing that enforces them
• Document architectural choices and tradeoffs, including infrastructure for AI and ML product features
• Write exemplary pipeline, SQL and data modeling code and give substantive code reviews
• Take end-to-end ownership of data projects and help build a culture of reliability
