Suits someone who can work with little supervision inside an agreed evaluation framework and back technical choices with evidence on quality, latency and cost.

At a glance

What you will do

• Apply the team's evaluation criteria, baselines and test datasets, without setting the approach itself.
• Compare models, embeddings and retrieval methods on quality, reliability, latency and cost, and document the tradeoffs.
• Diagnose retrieval misses, wrong answers and workflow failures, find the root cause and validate the fix.
• Build and maintain test cases, benchmark datasets and regression checks, and watch production performance.

What they look for

• Bachelor's degree required, master's in a quantitative or technical field preferred.
• Hands-on work building and evaluating LLM applications.
• Strong Python plus software engineering and testing skills, and solid knowledge of embeddings, semantic search and RAG.
