What you will do

  • Analyse containment response, impact and pressurization loads and ECCS LOCA performance
  • Use two-phase flow and heat transfer methods, simulations and some programming
  • Deliver reload analyses, method implementation, uprates and new fuel introductions
  • Work with design, licensing and systems teams and report to customers
  • Mentor colleagues, develop procedures and help run training

What they look for

  • Engineering degree in nuclear, mechanical, chemical or similar
  • At least 8 years in thermal-hydraulic safety analysis and methods
  • Ability to obtain authorization for US export-controlled information

Nice to have

  • BWR or PWR experience, or piping, fluid flow, pump and pressure vessel work
  • Masters or PhD in nuclear engineering with reactor modelling background
  • TRACG, TRACE or RELAP experience and knowledge of 10 CFR 50.46
  • Programming in C, Fortran or Python
