What you will do

  • Run ECCS LOCA, containment, HELB, fire safe shutdown and annulus load evaluations
  • Own fuel project work such as reload analysis, new methods, uprates and new fuel types
  • Work with mechanical, core, licensing and systems teams to reach the best customer answer
  • Present technical results to internal and external customers and develop training material

  • Engineering degree in nuclear, mechanical, chemical or a similar field
  • At least 3 years of thermal-hydraulic safety analysis for nuclear plants
  • Ability to get authorization for access to US export-controlled information

Nice to have

  • BWR or PWR experience, or fluid flow, piping, pump and pressure vessel work
  • Masters or PhD in nuclear engineering with reactor thermal-hydraulic modelling
  • Familiarity with TRACG, TRACE or RELAP and with 10 CFR 50.46
  • Programming in C, Fortran or Python
