Senior Healthcare Data Analyst, Medicaid

About the role

The team supports a national Medicaid oversight mission, turning large claims datasets into findings that program staff can act on. Eight or more years with T-MSIS data is the bar.

What you will do

• Analyse and interpret Medicaid data, and design the rules and methods used to collect and study it.
• Research weak spots and high-risk areas by combining policy knowledge with deep claims analysis.
• Present findings in writing, in person and through dashboards so non-specialists can follow them.
• Work with big datasets to find patterns that matter for program oversight.
• Team up with leadership and colleagues on hard problems.

What they look for

• A bachelor's degree plus at least eight years of T-MSIS experience doing advanced Medicaid analysis.
• Fluency with SQL, Python, Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake or similar reporting and visualisation tools.
• A record of building analytics that detect and prevent fraud, waste or abuse.
• Comfort turning Medicaid policy into working analytic solutions.
