Senior IAM Security Engineer

About the role

A hands-on role designing and maintaining secure identity and access management solutions. The engineer integrates IAM across enterprise systems and automates access lifecycle processes.

What you will do

• Architect and build IAM integrations using SCIM, SAML, OAuth, OIDC and APIs
• Lead automation of access lifecycle management
• Design and deploy RBAC and ABAC models across enterprise systems
• Diagnose and resolve complex IAM incidents
• Set secure configuration standards for IAM platforms and keep technical documentation current

What they look for

• Advanced practical knowledge of federation and modern authentication protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect
• Deep hands-on Keycloak administration, including realms, clients, role mapping, brokering and custom flows
• Proven ability to build and optimise Joiner/Mover/Leaver workflows with Adaxes or similar tools
• Strong grasp of RBAC and ABAC implementation patterns
• Experience with secure API integrations, REST APIs and service-to-service authentication
• Strong scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Python or Bash

Nice to have

• Advanced security certifications such as CISSP, CIAM or vendor IAM credentials
