Senior Investment Analyst

About the role

Provides analytical and operational support to the investment management process, covering portfolio research, reporting, risk controls and stakeholder requests.

What you will do

• Deliver forecasting, planning and reporting, and prepare investment reports and presentations for business leaders.
• Support data requests from second and third line of defense, including audits.
• Manage risk control self-assessments, maintain the risk control inventory and report key risk and performance indicators.
• Reconcile returns by asset manager and asset class and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate meetings with portfolio management, strategy, trading, research, compliance, legal and operations staff.

• Advanced knowledge of investment portfolio research and statistical analysis.
• Ability to complete complex recurring and ad hoc analysis and interpret market trends.
• Experience creating reports and presentations on performance, risk and attribution.
• Skill in managing client relationships and supporting business development.
• Ability to advise on compliance requirements and align templates with policy and regulation.
• Capability to mentor less experienced team members and lead presentation preparation.
