Senior Manager, Compliance Governance

About the role

Lead the core compliance management programs for a fintech pursuing a national bank charter, maturing them to meet regulatory expectations and guiding them through examinations.

What you will do

• Direct and grow the compliance governance team, setting priorities and raising its capabilities
• Own the compliance risk assessment, from methodology to execution and alignment with enterprise risk
• Run enterprise policy governance, covering the policy lifecycle, standards and ownership
• Own risk-based compliance training that measures effectiveness, not just completion
• Oversee compliance issues within the enterprise issues program, including remediation and validation
• Design reporting for executives and governance committees and support exam and audit readiness

What they look for

• Eight or more years in compliance or risk at a fintech, bank or regulated financial firm, with three or more leading teams
• Direct experience owning core compliance management components such as risk assessment, policy, training or reporting
• Central involvement in regulatory exams, handling requests, examiner engagement and findings
• Broad familiarity with banking regulations
