Senior Manual QA Engineer

About the role

Owning quality assurance end to end for a product team on a high-load casino games API platform, shaping test strategy and guiding releases while working with product, infrastructure and business colleagues.

What you will do

• Own QA for the product team end to end, including strategy, checklists and test cases
• Report quality status, risks and plans to the team and stakeholders
• Review requirements early to surface gaps and risks before development
• Lead releases as responsible QA and watch deploy results in production
• Diagnose defects and follow them from discovery to resolution
• Validate data in databases and give product demos to the Product Owner

What they look for

• Four or more years testing server-side or backend applications
• Strong test design and analysis, including risk-based prioritization and exploratory testing
• Hands-on experience with microservice-based systems and their trade-offs
• Confident API testing with Postman and REST APIs
• Ability to read CI/CD pipelines, such as GitLab CI
• English and Russian at upper intermediate (B2) or above

Nice to have

• Prior ClickHouse experience
• Web UI testing and familiarity with design systems
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit or TestNG
• Using AI and LLM tooling to speed up QA work
