Senior Network Engineer and Team Lead

About the role

Lead a small group of senior network engineers while providing hands-on support for a large, complex customer environment. The role blends technical troubleshooting with team leadership and escalation management.

What you will do

• Guide and mentor a team of four to six senior network engineers
• Run daily scrum calls and oversee incident and major incident escalations
• Diagnose and resolve network incidents, perform root cause analysis and prevent repeats
• Coordinate with other teams to resolve issues and keep stakeholders informed
• Support performance reviews and help set development goals for the team

What they look for

• Eight to twelve years in network engineering, with two to three years leading a team
• Strong Cisco and Nexus switching and routing skills, including VLANs, trunking, spanning tree, BGP, OSPF and EIGRP
• Hands-on Palo Alto and Check Point firewall policy work, troubleshooting and high availability
• F5 load balancer configuration and troubleshooting, physical and virtual
• Meraki wireless and cloud networking experience, plus SolarWinds monitoring and scripting with Python or Ansible
• Proven escalation handling, scheduling, on-call rotation and workload management
