Senior PK Analyst

About the role

A senior analyst role focused on deriving and validating pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic results for clinical development work. The position combines statistical programming with mentoring and quality improvement duties.

What you will do

• Derive pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic parameters from clinical data
• Program and validate NONMEM datasets along with derived PK and PD datasets
• Produce and validate tables, listings, figures and statistical appendices
• Follow agreed procedures and timelines while keeping output quality high
• Mentor less experienced analysts and review both own and others' work
• Lead or take part in quality and process improvement efforts

What they look for

• Four to six years of relevant experience
• Expert knowledge of SAS (BASE, STAT, GRAPH) or R, or both
• Hands-on experience with Phoenix WinNonlin or a comparable tool
• Familiarity with pharmacokinetic data
• Understanding of regulatory technical standards for the industry
• Strong SAS or R programming skills plus solid project management

Nice to have

• Unix or Linux knowledge
• A bachelor's degree in programming, statistics or mathematics
• A postgraduate qualification
