Senior Platform Engineer

About the role

Join a small platform team owning the AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, observability and security controls behind a clinical services platform. Take major initiatives end to end and shape technical direction as the footprint grows.

What you will do

• Work deeply in the AWS and CDK setup and begin untangling configuration sprawl across repositories
• Serve as a go-to resource for infrastructure questions from other teams
• Drive infrastructure security and compliance posture alongside a security and compliance engineer
• Help set platform technical direction as the footprint expands across regions and cloud providers

What they look for

• Real seniority operating production infrastructure at scale, including on-call experience
• Strong Terraform experience, which is non-negotiable
• Hands-on AWS CDK experience, ideally in TypeScript
• A working base in or near EST to overlap with teams in Canada and Indonesia
• A bias toward accuracy over speed when building infrastructure

Nice to have

• GCP or Azure experience alongside AWS
• Experience in a regulated or healthcare setting such as HIPAA, PHIPA or SOC 2, or genuine interest in learning it
