What you will do
- Lead backend architecture and API design in Python and Flask, guiding patterns and code reviews
- Build scalable REST and async APIs with clean separation between services and data access
- Develop frontend features in React and TypeScript in collaboration with UI teams
- Architect cloud infrastructure on GCP using Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Secret Manager, IAM and monitoring
- Design database solutions with Google Spanner, SQL and BigQuery for analytics
- Set up CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Docker and champion security practices

- Five or more years in full-stack development or related backend or frontend engineering roles
- Deep Python expertise with strong Flask or similar web framework experience
- Hands-on React and TypeScript skills for production-grade frontend work
- Experience designing REST APIs and service-oriented architectures
- Solid SQL, database design and data modeling knowledge
- Practical GCP experience including Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, IAM and monitoring
Nice to have
- Google Spanner or cloud-native database experience
- BigQuery or data warehouse experience for analytics
- Agent-based or MCP tool integration experience
- Async or event-driven architecture experience
