Senior PRO/COA Strategy Consultant

About the role

A consulting role supplying patient-centered measurement expertise to asset evidence strategies across a portfolio of development programs, many in early stages. The work is strategic and scientific, guiding concept selection, instrument choice and endpoint planning.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain PRO/COA parts of asset evidence strategies alongside asset leads
• Review disease, patient experience, competitive, regulatory and endpoint landscapes
• Lead fit-for-purpose PRO/COA evidence studies from design through dissemination
• Build or refine conceptual models and prioritize concepts of interest
• Assess instruments for fitness for purpose and find evidence gaps
• Review protocols, endpoint sections and analysis plans, and prepare recommendations

What they look for

• An advanced degree in outcomes research, psychometrics, epidemiology, psychology, public health or similar
• Roughly eight or more years of PRO/COA experience in pharma, biotech, consulting or regulatory settings
• Experience developing PRO/COA strategies for clinical programs, ideally early development
• Knowledge of patient-focused drug development, content validity, psychometrics and endpoint positioning
• Experience reviewing protocols, statistical analysis plans and evidence-planning documents
• Ability to work independently in a matrixed, co-development setting with competing priorities

Nice to have

• Experience in immunology, dermatology, gastroenterology or neurology
