What you will do
- Build, maintain and improve automated test frameworks and cases for web, API and backend services
- Work with developers and product managers to set acceptance criteria and secure thorough test coverage
- Wire automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and watch over test results
- Review code, coach junior QA engineers and spread automation best practices
- Trace and report defects with clear reproduction steps and logs
- Keep test data, environments and tooling in good shape and aligned with team needs

- Six or more years of professional QA automation experience
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript and Python programming
- Experience testing RESTful APIs with tools like Postman, REST Assured or Insomnia
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- Solid grasp of testing principles, test design and QA methods, plus Git and Agile or Scrum experience
Nice to have
- Performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS
- ISTQB or similar certifications
- Contract testing or TDD and BDD experience
