DevOps Engineer

About the role

Owns key parts of a delivery platform and cloud infrastructure, covering CI/CD, deployment automation and production reliability. The role also involves mentoring engineers and setting engineering standards.

What you will do

• Lead design and optimisation of CI/CD, infrastructure and deployment automation
• Own high-impact platform components for scalability, security and performance
• Build infrastructure as code and keep patterns consistent across environments
• Run containerised workloads on Docker and Kubernetes
• Set up monitoring, logging and observability for engineering teams
• Lead incident root cause analysis and mentor junior and mid-level engineers

What they look for

• Two or more years in DevOps, site reliability, cloud or infrastructure engineering
• Hands-on work with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Strong infrastructure as code skills with Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep or ARM
• Experience with modern CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell or Bash plus Linux and Windows administration

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications from AWS, Azure or GCP
• DevSecOps and security automation experience
• Platform engineering or self-service infrastructure experience
